-Is any conference in college football catching up to the SEC at all or not?

-Do you think NIL in college sports will do anything at all to shift the power from the current top teams or is it more of the same?

-Looking at the NFL…does early glance show that the Chiefs and Bucs should have a rematch in the Super Bowl or do you expect any demise from Tom Brady finally?

Is anyone in the B1G making up ground on Ohio State or are they an unstoppable train?

-Penn State sneaks up once in a while on the Buckeyes, but not consistently in the East. If you thought they’d slow down with Ryan Day replacing Urban Meyer, they have not done that at all

-Justin Fields isn’t there anymore, so we’ll see if their new QB is the real deal or not…but they get the benefit of the doubt, of course, with all the talent they have around him

-Is anyone in the West getting close at all? It doesn’t feel like it. An unclimbable mountain?

How close would a Milwaukee Bucks NBA Championship be in importance to Wisconsinites compared to a Packers Super Bowl?

-Parker is from Wisconsin, and Big Sky is a big Bucks and Packers fan despite being from Montana. We bring Big Sky in to add to the debate. The Bucks are in the Eastern Conference Finals

CBS Sports picks their over/under for 2021 B1G teams for football…so Jake and Parker Gabriel will, too!

-Tom Fornelli listed the over/under for every team in the conference, and he listed Nebraska as a push for 6 wins. Seems about right

-What else stands out that he picked for? And how much do Sip and Jake agree with what he said? Jake will say for the 100th time that the Illinois game predicates a lot of how this goes!

A mid-November game for Nebrasketball/Creighton? Say it isn’t so!

-The Gavitt Tip-Off Games announced yesterday that Nebraska will play Creighton on November 16th—right in the middle of crunch time for Husker football

-It’s the earliest the matchup will ever be played, and also in the same week as Nebraska/Wisconsin football, and Nebraska/Penn State volleyball

-With Creighton having a pretty much entirely new team…it’s a good time to play them, right?

The NBA Draft Lottery is soon…should the NFL ever consider adopting that philosophy?

-The Jaguars and Jets were both accused of tanking last year in the NFL, and it helped guarantee both of them getting the top 2 picks of the draft

-There is certainly tanking in the NBA, but there is no guarantee that the team with the worst record gets the top pick…could that philosophy be brought to the NFL Draft or not?

-What is next for college sports after the Supreme Court ruling on Monday?

-Nebraska lands 2022 WR Grant Page and 2022 LB Jake Appleget on Sunday…what are the Huskers getting in both players?

-Do you think NIL will feel normal and natural sooner than we think it might?

How does a team that struggles to close out games…learn how to close out games?

-Jake saw yesterday that the Detroit Lions hired a ‘mental skills specialist,’ and it got him thinking about that kind of thing at Nebraska

-He’s already said the Illinois game is the most important game of the season because he wonders how fragile the team is if they lose their opening game…so it gets back to the question: how do you learn to close out games when it’s been an issue for years?

-How much will NIL change the recruiting landscape from where it is right now, if at all?

-Dylan Raiola visited last Friday…is there a chance he ends up as one of the very top QBs in the class of 2024?

-How good has the talent pool been at Friday Night Lights camps and how successful would you say they’ve been so far in June?

Secret recordings getting released to the public remain a terrible thing, and this time, it’s for Wisconsin

-Seriously, what is it with all the rats out there? Bo Pelini got bit by it in the past, and now Greg Gard at Wisconsin. The locker room is SUPPOSED to be a safe and secret place, but it tends not to be anymore….a 37-minute audio recording from the Badger locker room during the season showed light to several players not feeling connected to Greg Gard, and other complaints

-You can be on whatever side you want, but we can all agree that this crap should never see the light of day when it’s in a locker room setting. Just the worst.
