Jake and Sip argue who is the better Nebraska defender between JoJo Domann and Cam Taylor-Britt

-The good news is both will return to the Nebraska football team for the 2021 season. Domann led the Huskers in tackles and Taylor-Britt garnered high praise from Travis Fisher in 2020.

-Getting both players back is a big off-season win for Scott Frost heading into year four, but which player do Sip and Jake think is more valuable?

Nebrasketball played Wisconsin last night to open up B1G conference play for both teams…how did it go for Hoiberg’s squad?

-Wisconsin was coming off of a blowout win of Louisville, and Nebraska is coming off a win against….Doane. A little bit different of a vibe there

-Did Nebrasketball look competitive and keep it close, or was it over from the get-go? The 2nd half has been tough for the Huskers this year in their losses…

-Also—the NBA is back already. Bizarre. How was Opening Night?

-Rutgers beats Illinois and moves close to the Top 10….can you make an argument that Steve Pikiell is a Top 3 coach in the league?

-Northwestern was supposed to be at the bottom of the league, but they just went and easily took care of Michigan State…is the conference just going to cannibalize itself this year?

The NBA Draft was last night…how soon until Nebrasketball gets a player drafted?

-Bryce McGowens will surely have a chance if he’s as good as expected in the future, but what about guys on the current squad? Do we have any idea yet? Will the school get more than just one in the next few years?

We have a Nebrasketball schedule! What’s the best stretch of winnable games?

-The goal this year is to play as many games as possible, with COVID causing so many cancellations and postponements. The goal is also to avoid a 17-game losing streak, which Nebraska is still riding now

-Any Creighton on the schedule? Any surprises otherwise? Overall thoughts from Sip and Jake…

Ted Carter rips the Big Ten again, and Jake and Sip assess how things have gone since B1G football came back

-UNL President Ted Carter spoke to the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday and said that Nebraska hasn’t got enough credit for bringing B1G football back, and that they will still stay in the conference despite not fitting very well

-Jake and Sip go back on the decisions the B1G made throughout the year and discuss how it was right to try playing all along, instead of just throwing up hands and quitting and not trying.

How much will tomorrow’s game affect your outlook on the rest of the season?

-We’ve discussed how this seems like a ‘must win’ game because of how far Nebraska falls behind Northwestern if they lose. So, if Nebraska does lose and goes to 0-2, what does that do to your outlook for the rest of the season?

-And if they win, does that change anything at all for the outlook? Back to 1-1 with the tiebreaker against NW, and who knows when Wisconsin plays again and if they’ll keep winning…do you start believing in the chance to win the division with a win or too early?
