Was getting a big road win in B1G play what it took for Nebrasketball to finally get over the hump in tough games?

  • Nebraska has been ranked a few times this year, and immediately lost and fell out of the rankings. It’s almost like they play better when they have something to prove—something that Sorensen is totally OK with.
  • Being ranked presents a chance for a ‘big’ win for any team you face, and brings a lot of energy to the crowd, especially if it’s on the road. But Nebraska had been close to beating good teams on the road…and now, if they beat Michigan State on the road, they’ll for sure have a number next to their name and play a less than daunting schedule over the next 10 games or so.
  • Sorensen wants to meet Bill Raftery, should we warn Raftery?
