Nebrasketball takes on Indiana tonight on the road, and Purdue on Sunday at home…any hope for a close game at all?

-The Big Ten looks damn good this year. On Wednesday, Illinois beat top 10 team Michigan, and Rutgers (!) beat Wisconsin….and we’ve already seen Purdue beat Virginia by 29 points this year….not easy sledding at all. What’s the best hope for Nebrasketball in these games?

Should coaches who leave for new jobs still coach their previous team in their bowl game?

– Scott Frost, as we all remember, did coach in the bowl game for UCF, despite already being Nebraska’s coach/ New Florida State head coach Mike Norvell announced yesterday he won’t coach in the bowl game for Memphis…. what should be the standard way that this is handled?

Nebraska volleyball once again advances to the Sweet 16, but it wasn’t exactly easy

-The Huskers had no issues with Ball State on Friday, but lost the first set to Missouri on Saturday, and also survived a thrilling 32-30 third set, but did win the match in 4 sets to move on to play Hawaii on Friday in Madison. The Badgers will await if Nebraska wins, a team they have not beaten this year…

A shocker in the college football world: Chris Petersen steps down at Washington

-Petersen announced he’ll step down after the season and take on an advisory role with the school, and defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake will take over as the new coach. There’s no way Petersen actually sticks around as an advisor and doesn’t get another big time coaching job…right?

Minnesota fails miserably and gets waxed by Wisconsin..can the Badgers push Ohio State at all the second time around?

-Wisconsin beat Minnesota, 38-17, to win the West division, setting up a rematch from earlier this year with Ohio State, who beat them 38-7 (oh, and Ohio State just beat Michigan, 56-27). Any chance of an upset, or more of the same for the dominant Buckeyes?
