Today is the 10-year anniversary of Nebraska’s last road game as members of the Big 12…what do Jake and Sip remember from it?

-Nebraska lost to Texas A&M, 9-6, on November 20, 2010, in a game where the Huskers had 16 penalties compared to A&M’s.

-Sip was at the game…what were his memories? So much to go through, from Taylor Martinez’s phone call during the first half, to Ben Cotton getting grabbed in the private area, and so much more

-The guys take a dive on the whole season and also the disappointment of having to play Washington again in the bowl game that year

-Nebraska sits at 1-2 at the moment, and didn’t get a chance to play Wisconsin and possibly snap their 7-game losing streak, or have it extended to 8 games. -Is a win against Iowa next week enough to call it a successful season? Or do we still need to get to a certain record? A certain place they finish in the West standings….or maybe signs that things are getting better for next year? -More from Scott Frost’s Zoom conference on Thursday…

-We know that it’s hard from true freshman and guys making their first appearances to pick things up right away. Nebraska’s pace hasn’t been out of control fast, but it could still go slower

-Does Nebraska need to slow down the offense to avoid confusion and make sure plays are successful? To make sure guys know what they’re doing, to avoid that excuse?

What, at this point, constitutes a successful season for Nebraska football?

How pumped are people for Nebrasketball this season?

-It’s a legitimate question, after a season that ended in a 17-game losing streak, but also a team that added players that sat out and other transfers, too

-The Bryce McGowens signing is certainly big for energy, but what about this year?

Parker Gabriel (Lincoln Journal Star) / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-Does this Husker defense seem ahead of ones of the past, or do you still have big questions?

-What is the fix for Nebraska’s second half woes and also their problems in the red zone?

-Northwestern plays Wisconsin this weekend…

If Nebraska’s offense comes to life against Illinois, will you believe it’s been fixed going forward, or that it’s just because it’s Illinois?

-Nebraska has had some great offensive performances against Illinois under Lovie Smith as head coach. They are averaging 48 points per game against the Illini in the Smith era

-So..if Nebraska has a big offensive game and puts up big yards and points…is that because the offense is fixed, or because Illinois’ defense is bad? Surely you wouldn’t expect a huge output against Iowa next week…right? What would show real progress and what would show that their defense was just bad?
