Day 2 preview for the NCAA Tournament…what are the games you’re pumped for?

-Wisconsin/Oregon is intriguing, as is Cincinnati/Iowa and Arizona State/Buffalo…any upset possibilities otherwise?

-Favorite game of Day 1?

What’s more likely going forward for Nebrasketball: An extended run in the NIT or an exit against TCU?

-Sip wrote after Wednesday’s game that Nebraska could make a run through the NIT and it still wouldn’t affect the decision to fire Tim Miles and (hopefully) hire Fred Hoiberg…that gets interesting the more that it happens and wins do occur, though….

-The team is still going to be depleted because of injuries/a suspension, but they’re playing inspired basketball currently….are you expecting them to beat TCU and keep it going or have the season end? Jake thinks they’ll actually go on a run.

For all the highly-ranked teams who get all the love, Murray State’s Ja Morant is another example of why college basketball is so great

-Morant was sensational for 12-seeded Murray State against Marquette on Thursday, and probably cemented the fact that he’ll be a Top 5 pick in the NBA Draft. From small-school Murray State! That led Jake to do some research that might stun you about where some of the Top 10 scorers in the NBA are from…

Is Tim Miles the 2nd-best option to coach Nebrasketball in 2019?

-Fred Hoiberg is the clear No. 1 option for many, but if that somehow fell through, you have to question how real it is for good back-up options for Miles’ replacement. Is that a reason why Miles wasn’t fired after the B1G tourney?

-Is it possible to put all the eggs in one basket? You’d rather have Miles over another mid-major coach, right?

Is the NCAA Tournament tougher to watch this year for Nebrasketball fans knowing your team should be in it?

-There were some great games on Thursday, as always, in the first day of the NCAA Tournament, but Jake couldn’t help but feel a little envy for the teams that were playing instead of Nebraska. Minnesota, a team that Nebraska split with this year, beat Louisville soundly in the first game of the day, to move to the Round of 32 on Saturday. Other games showed that Nebraska probably could have fared OK if they had not unraveled

-In most years, Nebraska fans enjoy watching the Dance because their team was a far cry from making it. But this year, they didn’t make it when they were supposed to. This is how it SHOULD feel when you miss the Dance. Anyone else feel that way?
