Sip is annoyed about the excitement tonight for the NFL schedule release…what else do Sip, Jake and listeners view as the most annoying or overrated things in sports?

-Sip doesn’t understand why people are going to be sitting and watching at 7pm tonight on NFL Network to see each team’s schedules and the primetime games for the season upcoming…he says you play the same teams every year, so what’s the big deal?

-What else is overplayed and annoying in sports that people enjoy the most? Jake thinks the NBA in general is annoying, and especially the 2 months of playoffs. Way too long. He also thinks the college football playoff ranking shows are overrated and annoying each week, too, on ESPN

Caller Chris yesterday said that Nebraska football right now is a 4 to 9 win program…is that a long-term view or not?

-Minnesota is probably viewed the same way, but people probably viewed their 11 win year 2 seasons ago as an outlier year. Indiana might be viewed the same way, although they have high expectations this year

-Is this 4 to 9 win program something that is long-term here or not? If Nebraska were to get a 10 or 11 win season, would that be as an outlier or as the norm going forward? How long are you stuck in a certain model for? Who has snapped that ideology in college football recently?
