Nebraska is one of the proudest fanbases in all of college football….how do you tell them to lower expectations?

-Three straight years of no bowl games helps in lowering expectations, but to what extent? Sip mentioned yesterday on the show that this upcoming offseason might be like one we’ve never seen before. Husker fans were taken aback this year by a lack of progress, in what many viewed as a potential breakout year for Nebraska. Not the case.

-Year 3 will bring a daunting final 5 games, uncertainty at QB, and a lot to replace in the defensive secondary and defensive line, as well as a starting linebacker. We’re already talking about just making a bowl game in 2020 as being a ‘win’ for the program….how will fans cope with that kind of talk?
