-Excited for Gonzaga/Baylor tonight? Thoughts on the ending to Gonzaga/UCLA…

-MLB started as usual, college baseball is in season, the NCAA Tournament went on as scheduled…are we starting to feel normal again?

-Excited for Spring Football at all or….not?

-Husker baseball continues to play well…isn’t it nice to have a Nebraska men’s program performing at a high level?

-Are you concerned that Sip believes he can talk to football gods?

It is officially one of the best sports weeks of the calendar year with The Masters starting on Thursday..

-Jordan Spieth is playing well as he tries to get another major championship under his belt, and The Masters gets back to its normal calendar spot, albeit with limited fan attendance…but still!

Sip can apparently talk to the football gods now…how did this conversation come to be?

-Sip wrote of a conversation he had with a spokesman for the football gods…whatever that means…

-Also, Husker baseball wins another series..despite some shaky pitching

An epic ending in the Final Four sets up tonight’s national championship of Gonzaga vs. Baylor

-What a game it was between Gonzaga and UCLA! Jalen Suggs’ three-pointer at the buzzer in OT sent Gonzaga to the championship game against Baylor, who had no issues with Houston on Saturday

-This is what we all wanted, right? The UCLA story was great, and they certainly looked like they belonged on the same court as Gonzaga, pushing the Zags more than anyone else had the whole season

-What to expect tonight?

The Drive: March 22nd, 4:45pm: Husker Baseball and fans?

The needle is starting to lean towards fans being allowed in the stadiums, just how much?

We are 2 days away from Husker baseball…how do we set expectations this year?

-Nebraska didn’t play any conference games last year before the pandemic ended the season. They weren’t a bad team at all under Erstad, they just didn’t advance past a regional

-How do we lay out expectations for a coach in his (kind of) 2nd year who never faced conference opponents last year?

It’s a February miracle…the B1G has released a baseball schedule!!

-The schedule was released yesterday, and keep in mind that Nebraska’s first game last year was on February 14th…and they’d played 3 games already by today

-No B1G baseball tournament, and the season starts on March 5 against Purdue in Texas…thoughts on it finally unfolding?

Husker Baseball takes 3 of 4 games from Columbia…what did we learn?

-Windy conditions but great weather, in general, for the first home series of the year. Nebraska won the first 2 games of the series, lost the nightcap on Saturday, and won on Sunday to take the series and move to 5-8 overall

Husker baseball loses series to Arizona State in the desert, but does end 7-game losing streak

-Nebraska got blasted in the first 2 games, losing 13-5 on Friday and 14-1 on Saturday, but responded on Sunday with an 18-10 win that was aided by 5 home runs, and ended a 7-game losing streak. The record is now 2-7, but pitching is still…not good. And offense? It’s exploded in 2 games. And been OK or bad in the others.

Husker baseball has their moments, but aren’t finishing games….what are fans patience level?

-Nebraska had the big first inning in the first game of the season against Baylor that led to a win, but has now lost 5 straight games, and sits at 1-5 on the season. They lost all 3 games in San Diego this weekend, despite being in all of them until the very end. It’s not a bad team—they just aren’t winning yet

-What is fan’s patience level and what’s their interest level? Afraid to get too invested to get hurt like the other men’s programs this year?
