-Is any conference in college football catching up to the SEC at all or not?

-Do you think NIL in college sports will do anything at all to shift the power from the current top teams or is it more of the same?

-Looking at the NFL…does early glance show that the Chiefs and Bucs should have a rematch in the Super Bowl or do you expect any demise from Tom Brady finally?

Is anyone in the B1G making up ground on Ohio State or are they an unstoppable train?

-Penn State sneaks up once in a while on the Buckeyes, but not consistently in the East. If you thought they’d slow down with Ryan Day replacing Urban Meyer, they have not done that at all

-Justin Fields isn’t there anymore, so we’ll see if their new QB is the real deal or not…but they get the benefit of the doubt, of course, with all the talent they have around him

-Is anyone in the West getting close at all? It doesn’t feel like it. An unclimbable mountain?

How close would a Milwaukee Bucks NBA Championship be in importance to Wisconsinites compared to a Packers Super Bowl?

-Parker is from Wisconsin, and Big Sky is a big Bucks and Packers fan despite being from Montana. We bring Big Sky in to add to the debate. The Bucks are in the Eastern Conference Finals

CBS Sports picks their over/under for 2021 B1G teams for football…so Jake and Parker Gabriel will, too!

-Tom Fornelli listed the over/under for every team in the conference, and he listed Nebraska as a push for 6 wins. Seems about right

-What else stands out that he picked for? And how much do Sip and Jake agree with what he said? Jake will say for the 100th time that the Illinois game predicates a lot of how this goes!

A mid-November game for Nebrasketball/Creighton? Say it isn’t so!

-The Gavitt Tip-Off Games announced yesterday that Nebraska will play Creighton on November 16th—right in the middle of crunch time for Husker football

-It’s the earliest the matchup will ever be played, and also in the same week as Nebraska/Wisconsin football, and Nebraska/Penn State volleyball

-With Creighton having a pretty much entirely new team…it’s a good time to play them, right?

Something happened to the bathroom at the Ticket / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-The bathroom at the Ticket was ransacked and Sip discovered it during the break. Sip and Jake break down potential causes and develop a hypothesis on the mystery.

To Trade or Not to Trade Aaron Rodgers, Part 2

-Jake and Big Sky continue their discussion on the Aaron Rodgers situation in Green Bay. As a Packers fan, Big Sky wants him gone…Jake thinks that is ridiculous. Who’s more convincing?

-The whole situation depends on one thing. Can Jordan Love play?

Big Sky has thoughts on Aaron Rodgers that must be voiced to the listeners

-We welcome in our son, Big Sky (Ethan Petrik), to voice his thoughts on what the Packers should do.

Who are the difference-makers for Nebraska?

-A texter chimes in and points out that the last difference-maker at Nebraska was Suh in 2009. Sip and Jake talk about how a lack of these types of players has affected Nebraska.

-This topic raises the question…does Nebraska have a player development issue?

-Would a consistent system and unified culture solve the issue?

ESPN.com’s post-spring Top 25 rankings for 2021 have Nebraska facing 4 Top 25 teams this upcoming year…what game is the most winnable/important for the Huskers?

-Oklahoma is No. 1 (!!) in the polls, with Ohio State at No. 5, Iowa at No. 14, and Wisconsin at No. 18. Nebraska plays the last 3 of those all in the month of November. Fun!

-What’s more telling about this poll is where some teams Nebraska should absolutely be in the same conversation as every year are ranked. Iowa State is 6th, Cincinnati is 9th, Indiana is 11th, Louisiana-Lafayette is 16th (!!), and Coastal Carolina is 21st. We saw these teams have success last year and the past few years, but it’s still stunning to see those numbers by them
