Early Signing Day is a big success for Nebraska football…. a refreshing change from disappointing past years

-Nebraska started the day with a ‘no’ from Kaden Johnson, who chose Wisconsin; but then they had a run of success, getting commitments and LOIs from Jaiden Francois, Marcus Fleming, Alante Brown, and Pheldarius Payne, but didn’t get Myles Slusher, who instead chose Arkansas over Nebraska and Oregon

-How about the WR room changing since Friday…. commitments from Omar Manning, Fleming, and Brown, to go with a group that already has JD Spielman and Wan’Dale Robinson, as well as young guys like Darien Chase, Demariyon Houston, and Jamie Nance. Time for Troy Walters to make that depth into a difference-maker for Nebraska

Welcome to Early National Signing Day…it’s going to be a busy day ahead

-Get your coffee, boys and girls….it’s going to be a doozy of a day. Nebraska kept momentum rolling yesterday with a commitment from 3-star JUCO DL Jordon Riley, and also a walk-on commitment from Ty Hahn of Johnson-Brock. But today brings high anticipation again…

-We’ll learn at 7:45am about Kaden Johnson of Minnesota and his college choice…if he commits to Nebraska, the rest of the day is downhill from there, and the question then begins to be how high will this class finish in the rankings?
