Dedrick Mills has a backup RB, but it’s not Rahmir Johnson—it’s Ronald Thompkins, per Ryan Held

-WHOA! We had heard that Thompkins was having a good camp, but many still believed the No.2 RB job was still Rahmir Johnson’s to lose. That was obviously not true, as Ryan Held said yesterday that Thompkins will get the first carries that Dedrick Mills doesn’t get at RB

-Held said that Johnson has been getting work as a kick returner, though, as well as a variety of other players. He says the backfield depth is the best he’s had since he’s been here…coach speak or true?

-More from yesterday’s post-practice Zoom session…

Jake’s NFL Week 3 Winners and Losers

-What else stood out? And what is the outlook for tonight’s huge Chiefs/Ravens MNF game?

Between Iowa and Wisconsin, which losing streak is the most important to snap for Nebraska in 2020?

-Nebraska has lost 5 straight games to Iowa, and 7 straight to Wisconsin. It’s not pretty, and it’s not fun. There have been some close games, and also some blowouts.

-If you could end one of those skids this year, which would you choose? Sip mentioned yesterday that the Wisconsin game might be the biggest game of the year, to avoid an 0-2 start, so that’s probably his answer. But which game do listeners think is more important to snap the losing skid to each in?

Jake thinks his Dolphins could convince the idiot Bill O’Brien to trade Deshaun Watson to Miami

-That’s right—the IDIOT Bill O’Brien. The Texans have lost a lot this offseason in trades and free agents, and appear to be rebuilding. Watson is a VERY good QB and still young, but the Texans don’t appear to be going to the right direction. Could the Dolphins offer enough first rounders to get Watson in Miami?
