Could Pac-12 ‘After Dark’ soon become Pac-12…..’Early Morning’?

-Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott mentioned at their Media Days that many coaches are frustrated that the league doesn’t get primetime games all the time and that they start so late compared to the rest of college football….and he mentioned that they’ve looked at possibly doing 9am P.T. games to get in the noon ET time slot

-Can you imagine playing football at 9am? What would that look like in the Midwest or East Coast? Do you want to see that? Sounds horrible, honestly.

Urban Meyer is about to debut a podcast about leadership, culture, and behavior…But, should he?

-Meyer is, of course, a very successful coach, with his tenures at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida, and OSU… But, there has been questions about his leadership at the end of his Florida tenure, and then the whole issue with Zach Smith at Ohio State before last season…is Meyer relieved of that story or is this still something he shouldn’t do quite yet?

-There’s always criticism in life, but this will have a whole different mind of its own… (Focus 3 Podcast)

SB Nation thinks the Big Ten West will be wild this year…do you believe the division will truly be a 6-team free-for-all?

-The article says it’s possible that Wisconsin is really good this year, but they’re also replacing several key parts of last year’s team, and have a new QB starting

-They also point out that Nebraska has to get over some mental hurdles against Iowa and Wisconsin from previous seasons, but also that Northwestern can’t be forgotten because of their own 5-star QB

-Is there any way the division is disappointing and that a team runs away with it? Obviously we wouldn’t be disappointed if Nebraska ran away with it..

United Airlines announces they’ll do direct flights to college football games this year…what a brilliant concept

-The airline announced that Columbus, Ohio to Lincoln will be one of the direct flights, as well as Baton Rouge to Austin (LSU vs. Texas), and others. Brilliant concept, how many flights could they make this happen for? They will surely sell out of these ones…people would die for something like this!

247 Sports lists their Top 10 Husker football breakout players for 2019…did they get it right?

-Who are the guys you’d pick to be potential breakouts for Nebraska this year? Jake is going tight ends..

-Cam Taylor? Deontai Williams? Cam Jurgens? Who is the guy?

Can high national preseason expectations make people forget what their actual personal expectations are for Nebraska this year?

-If Sip and Jake were to sit here today and tell you their projection for the season, they’d probably say in the area of 8-4. That’s on June 19, and it’s been their thoughts the whole time. But, as more people put Nebraska as a team to watch in college football and give them a high record, could people forget about what their actual expectations for the team were as the season gets going?

-Example: Nebraska starts 4-0 but loses to Ohio State. You knew that game was going to be tough, but people will moan about a blown chance to get relevant on the national scene against the big, bad Buckeyes. Can we remember what our expectations were for the year as the season plays on?

Bill Bender (The Sporting News)

-Bill just went through and ranked the top college football coaches in the nation, and he has Scott Frost at 28th, as he did last year. How much of a leap is he expecting Frost to take this year? What’s his ceiling as a coach?

-Les Miles at 30th at Kansas…can he actually turn that place around or is it doomed?

-Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney are obviously No. 1 and 2, but is Jimbo Fisher the no doubt 3rd best coach?
