-3 games into the season for Nebrasketball…what’s surprised you about the team so far, if anything?

-Derrick Walker suspended for 16 games to start the season…how important was he going to be?

-Can this team compete in the Big Ten this year and be respectable?

Sip and Jake hate recruiting…but maybe it’s time to discuss a better strategy for Nebraska football

-Marcus Fleming became the 5th of 5 freshman from Florida to leave the program yesterday, and although it’s a trend in college football for players to transfer, Nebraska get crushed at very important positions by it

-The 500 mile radius discussion is mentioned a lot, but maybe it’s more important than we think.

-Also, Northwestern clinched the Big Ten West title because their game against Minnesota got canceled this weekend…what a time…

Rick Kaczenski (Former Nebraska/Iowa DL coach)

-How do you assess this program in Frost’s third year at 1-4 and 6 straight losses to Iowa?

-As a former center at the D1 level, how do you explain Cam Jurgens’ yips problems? Would you stay with him like Scott Frost plans to?

-Nebraska loses their 5th freshman from Florida in Marcus Fleming yesterday…do they need to change their recruiting philosophy?

Cam Jurgens remains Nebraska’s starting center, and another freshman from Florida leaves the program

-Scott Frost spoke to the media on Monday, and affirmed that Cam Jurgens will remain Nebraska’s starting center, despite getting pulled in the second quarter against Iowa for more poor snaps, which continue to plague him and the team

-Adrian Martinez also talked about how he likes ‘tough love’ as a player, but many players don’t like getting yelled at…interesting…

-Also, Marcus Fleming becomes the 5th freshman player from Florida to leave the class….not great for Travis Fisher’s great haul…

Cam Jurgens named to Rimington Watch List

-Where does he rank when you think of Nebraska’s top players? Not a lot of those “top” guys on defense. With defense looking optional this season, what are the expectations for this defense, against Ohio State and throughout the season?

Greg Austin says Cam Jurgens’ snap issues were largely because of “mental overload”…do you buy that? / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-There was a lot on the plate of Cam Jurgens last year, as a redshirt freshman who was thrusted into a starting role at center

-We all know the snaps were a problem for the first part of the year…was that really because he had too much to think about when playing? And do you think this is a resolved issue or not?

Did Nebraska rush Cam Jurgens back, or do you believe he is fully healthy and good to go to make an impact at center

The announcement last week was curious, and while it created excitement, it also provides questions. Was/is Will Farniok that bad at center right now? or is Jurgens that much better when he’s in there? Was this a rush job or desperation, or a true feeling that he is healthy and good to go.
