Nick Sehnert joined the Ticket in November 2020 as a production intern and became co-host of the “Happy Hour” in August of 2021. Before the Ticket, he was a play-by-play broadcaster for KLKN-TV, an on-air DJ for KRNU, and a Runner for Fox Sports and the Big Ten Network – working with the play-by-play broadcasters every Saturday during Husker Football games.

Nick is a Sports Media & Communication and Broadcasting double-major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Nick’s favorite Husker Football memory is being in Memorial Stadium when Nebraska overcame a 27-6 deficit against Ohio State in 2011. Growing up in Lincoln, Nick played baseball at Pius X High School. Outside of the Ticket, you can find Nick on a golf course but as a Chicago Cubs fan, Nick’s passion for baseball supersedes all other sports.

Enrique Alvarez-Clary, better known to the Ticket listeners as “Rico,” is never shy about bringing his crazy takes and predictions to the air. Rico is quick to tell everyone when a good idea was his or that the Patriots are going to win the next Super Bowl. As the biggest New York Knicks fan in Lincoln, listeners can count on Rico to predict the Knicks as NBA Champions each season or that Carmelo Anthony is a top-10 player to ever play. Enrique is a graduate of University of Nebraska-Kearney, where he received a degree in communications and competed in track & field.

Enrique joined 93.7 the Ticket in 2016 as a production intern for the morning show before becoming a full-time producer. Rico has a creative fingerprint on every show on the Ticket, whether it’s intros when coming back from commercial or on jingles, like the “Text Bag,” which is his favorite.

Listeners can hear the fun and energetic duo that is Nick and Enrique weekdays from 2-3 on the “Happy Hour!”
