Name, image and likeness is a ‘go’ for the NCAA—will the floodgates open up right away?

-The NCAA announced yesterday that the Board of Governors is supporting athletes’ ability to cash in on NIL—from third parties

-This could be from social media, autograph signings, memorabilia sales, endorsement deals from small/large companies, and more

-All sports and all athletes would be permitted…but what kind of opportunities will certain sports have compared to others? And positions played in those sports….also—the NCAA doesn’t want this to aid in recruiting with guaranteed sponsorships…good luck with that..
