It’s actually happening—the Big Ten is indeed playing football this Fall, beginning October 23rd and 24th

-After a long battle of wondering if football would come back at all for the Big Ten before Thanksgiving and before January, the news broke Wednesday morning that the conference would be back for play

-There are lots of things to unpack here. First, any positive COVID case would require a player to miss 21 days. The schedule they lay out will be 8 straight weeks of regular season games starting October 23rd, and each team will also play on Championship Saturday against the team on the other division that is in the same spot as them, for every team to get to 9 games played
