Husker offense comes to life once again and takes care of Illinois, 54-35, on a cold day in Lincoln

-Nebraska scores in 3 plays on the opening drive in just over a minute of time; scores 38 points in the first half; and despite shaky defense once again, makes enough stops and gets enough turnovers forced to get 3rd win in their last 4 games…have to feel pretty good heading into final 2 games with Michigan State and Iowa, right?

-We don’t like to nitpick too much when you have a 19 point win, but Nebraska’s defense still has major issues stopping the run. A.J. Bush, on a (possible) revenge tour, put on a clinic on the ground, rushing 25 times for 187 yards and 3 TDs, doing most of the work when Reggie Corbin left with injury. Neither of the next 2 QBs Nebraska faces are really running threats, which is good…but can that part of defense be fixed in 2019?
