December 27th: Would starting a true freshman QB in Scott Frost’s first year make fans more patient in their immediate expectations for Nebraska football?

-Maybe Tristan Gebbia or Patrick O’Brien would be better immediate options for Frost and staff, but maybe he feels that getting Adrian  Martinez in as a starter immediately is the most important thing for getting this offense to where he wants to be, instead of just plugging someone in as a ‘stopgap’

-Martinez is sure to make mistakes, being a true freshman and coming off a year in high school where he didn’t play because of a torn labrum…but would playing him make fans more patient to wait for success, or potentially make them upset, as maybe the other 2 QBs gives Nebraska a better chance at results sooner?
