Close, but no cigar—Huskers fall to Ohio State, 36-31, in Columbus, but the mood is positive around Nebraska following the game—as it absolutely should be

-Nebraska was legitimately in the game for all 60 minutes, which has not been the case at all against Ohio State in past years, as we all know. Games being over at halftime has been the trend vs. the Buckeyes, but credit Nebraska for not being scared and giving them a full game

-Maybe the biggest thing for Nebraska is not letting the dam break. The Huskers led 7-0 early, then it was 16 quick points by Ohio State that had fans thinking, “here we go again.” But instead, Nebraska forced some turnovers and fought back to lead at halftime. THAT is evidence of a strong culture being built here in year 1 of Scott Frost—a reason for belief going forward
