April 18th: Tim Miles gets a one-year extension through the 2020-21 season…if there’s ever been a ‘prove it’ year, it’s this upcoming season

-Miles wanted a 3-year extension and only got a 1-year extension…this is probably OK with most Nebrasketball fans who think he deserved something for a 22-win season, but aren’t convinced of his long-term success here

-Could Bill Moos have handled this any better? It wouldn’t be hard to fire Miles after next year if a lot of players leave or if they have a bad season, because the buyout and commitment wouldn’t be that big…will he be actively looking for a coach all season long or actually give Miles a good chance to stick around? Does Tim absolutely have to make the Dance next year now?
