DP & Stephens: CFP and Husker Basketball Talk

Happy Monday! The National Championship is tonight and the Husker Men lost their 5th in a row on Sunday.

Nebraska Women’s Basketball improves to 6-4 on the season with a win over #23 Michigan State

-Amy Williams’ squad collected its second top 25 victory of the season behind 18 points from sophomore forward Isabelle Bourne.

-A game against the undefeated #16 Ohio State Buckeyes is ahead this saturday.

Nebraska Basketball comes up short but looks good against Indiana in 84-76 loss / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-Did the new look Huskers do enough to give you hope or are you beat down by the losing streak?

-Derrick Walker made his debut for the Husker, retro uniforms and all five starters in double digits, but Fred Hoiberg’s squad was still unable to come away with the home victory. Are Husker fans encouraged by last night?

Does Nebraska have a talent issue?

-If Wan’Dale Robinson transfers, it would be the third season in a row in which the leading receiver left the program following the season either by transfer of the draft.

-How does Scott Frost look to replace Robinson’s production? Would the Huskers look to the transfer portal or in-house development?
