DP & Stephens: Opening Segment

DP and Tom open Tuesday’s show with a variety of topics.

The Lions and Broncos had a competition this year that would be awesome to see every year in both college and the NFL…

-Bud Light said before the year that whoever had the longest kick made between the Lions and Broncos kickers this year would earn that city free beer for a day on them….Prater’s 59 yard kick earlier this year gave Detroit the win on that

-Could that be done in some capacity in college? Not beer, probably….but would that be a fun challenge between different teams in the conference or in other conferences?

Robin Washut (Husker Online) / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-What exactly happened against Ohio State last week and is that cleared from the team’s system?

-Derrick Walker return soon…how much will he change the look of the team, if at all?

-What has been the most disappointing part of this season so far to you?

Nebrasketball’s game at Purdue was postponed…are fans still intrigued by the season or disinterested in it already?

-Fred Hoiberg’s squad is on a 21-game losing streak in conference play. They were blown out by Ohio State and played Michigan State close, but are 0-4 in B1G play on the season

-The entire conference is full of good teams, and they could have an incredibly large amount of teams that make the Dance this year. Knowing that and where Nebraska is at in the rebuild, are you still in or checked out for the season?
