-Why doesn’t it seem like Nebraska is as motivated to play as other teams in a year they begged to play?

-If you were Logan Smothers, what would you think about Frost saying McCaffrey is the QB of the future?

-Do we see a pissed off Nebraska team against Iowa on Friday or a defeated squad?

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, are people still thankful that Nebraska is playing football this year?

-This is not supposed to be an eyeroll conversation. Remember when people called in and said they’d rather not play this year than have a bad record? Those people got ridiculed by listeners and even Sip and Jake

-Even in a bad year, though, you should prefer to see football than nothing at all, right? You learn nothing about your team in that scenario. Think of it that way.

-How does Scott Frost stop this from spiraling out of control the rest of the year?

-Why doesn’t Nebraska ever seem to truly play like the underdog that they are and should be?

-Are we looking at a beatdown in Iowa City or can Nebraska make it interesting again?

If Luke McCaffrey is the ‘future’ of Nebraska football as Scott Frost said he was on Monday, what does that leave for Logan Smothers?

-Nebraska has had some bad luck at QB. Joe Burrow opted for LSU instead of Nebraska because Frost and company had Martinez, and the rest is history. Noah Vedral transferred to Rutgers and is a capable passer, while Nebraska can’t get the offense going at all this year

-We don’t know much about Smothers’ ability in the college level because we can’t see practice. But he came in as a highly-regarded QB. What would he say about that quote? And what if he left and became great, and Luke stayed average? Man.
