Could the delay in the NBA season actually provide a better answer for the league? / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-The current NBA season might not be back until June, and there’s talk that it might go until August because of the lost time with the suspension of season due to coronavirus

-However, doesn’t this create a new great possibility for the league to benefit even more? Nebrasketball AND Nebraska football both have a chance to stick it to Iowa by taking someone they care for from the state…will it happen?

-Ohio State’s DJ Carton announced he will transfer from the Buckeyes, and since he’s from Bettendorf, Iowa (not far from Iowa City), Hawkeyes fans think they are the natural spot for him to go to

-Nebrasketball is in on him per college hoops sources…what if Matt Abdelmassih stole him away and got him to Lincoln? It’s certainly possible…

-Which then brings us to Thomas Fidone…could Nebraska do to Iowa what Iowa did to Nebraska in getting Noah Fant to leave the state and go have success at a rival? It could be a change of the tide!

Texas restaurants can deliver alcohol under a new waiver…what if that happened full time?

-Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced Wednesday that Texas restaurants will be able to deliver alcoholic beverages under a waiver in response to financial hardship for businesses…they can deliver beer, wine and mixed drinks as long as there is food delivered, too. What is that was the case always?

Why does Sip love Jameis Winston so much?

-Sip has been defending Winston on Twitter a lot the past few days, despite him having 30 interceptions last year. Is it strictly because he is from Florida State or is it more than that?

-Who else do Sip and Jake have irrational support of when they might not deserve it? What other athletes exist out there that have that kind of support despite not performing well?
