Archie Miller told ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi to “go back into the trash”

-Miller didn’t like Lunardi’s recent comments about Indiana and having them in the NCAA Tournament but one of the last 4 teams in, and said that Lunardi should go back into the trash. Seems like a nice guy to hang out with. Brings us back to the days when Sip used to threaten former producer Furley about putting him in the trash, too!

Does Jake owe Greg Gard an apology? / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-There was a time this year where Jake called Greg Gard “just a guy” at head coach of Wisconsin, and my no means ‘elite.’ All he’s done to finish the year is win 8 straight games and a share of the regular season Big Ten title. The Badges are the hottest team in the league, and will have a nice seed in the NCAA Tourney

-This all came also after Wisconsin lost Kobe King to transfer (to Nebraska); it ended up helping them apparently. Did they just get hot or is he truly an elite coach?

What’s your level of interest in spring football, which begins today….and how much ground can Frost truly make in the spring?

-It’s finally arrived—spring football begins today through April 18th. Where do you stand, as the fan, on this year’s spring session? Ready to roll or burnt out on Husker football until you see results when it matters?

-Also, with so many issues to deal with this Spring, how much ground can Scott Frost and this staff truly make in this 1.5 month period?

Husker Baseball takes 3 of 4 games from Columbia…what did we learn?

-Windy conditions but great weather, in general, for the first home series of the year. Nebraska won the first 2 games of the series, lost the nightcap on Saturday, and won on Sunday to take the series and move to 5-8 overall

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY (sponsored by Sartor Hamann Jewelers):

Comparing other first year head coaches to Fred Hoiberg

-Fans can point to a lackluster season by saying Fred Hoiberg had just over a month to throw together a roster for this season. However, other first year coaches around the nation have had to deal with similar issues-how do they compare?

-Continuing to evaluate Nebraska’s basketball season.
