Checking the pulse on Nebraska fans’ confidence in the basketball program/ Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-Fan belief is probably still very high for what he can accomplish in his tenure at Nebraska, but the issues at the free throw line and second half issues throughout the whole season have to make some wonder about what exactly is going on, and how much he can fix that with the roster next season

Adding context to Nebraska Basketball’s seasonal struggles.

Husker baseball loses series to Arizona State in the desert, but does end 7-game losing streak

-Nebraska got blasted in the first 2 games, losing 13-5 on Friday and 14-1 on Saturday, but responded on Sunday with an 18-10 win that was aided by 5 home runs, and ended a 7-game losing streak. The record is now 2-7, but pitching is still…not good. And offense? It’s exploded in 2 games. And been OK or bad in the others.

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY (sponsored by Sartor Hamann Jewelers):

Cary Cochran (Former Nebrasketball shooting guard)

-Cary was a 90% free throw shooter in his days at Nebraska…how exactly would he explain a D1 program like Nebraska going 8 for 30 on free throws in yesterday’s loss to Northwestern, and having those problems all year?

-Does a 14 game losing streak give you any questions about Fred’s coaching abilities or are you still convinced that once his guys are all able to play next year, this year will be forgotten?

-How important is it for Nebraska to land in-state players and from the surrounding states for the program?
