Everyone was into the XFL last weekend…did you watch again this weekend or not?

-The league got good reviews on opening weekend, but it’s not hard to get opening weekend viewership, especially the week after the Super Bowl. Did you follow this weekend or is it just another thing that you don’t care that much about?

John Losito (Sun Valley Lanes owner) / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-Sun Valley Lanes is hosting the nationally-televised U.S. Open for bowling this exactly did they get the event to come there?

-What does the week look like? All lanes utilized for all the days or how does it work?

-Is it a good environment for fans if they want to watch elite bowling?

The Will Bolt Era started with a bang on Friday, but resulted in a series loss

-The first 11 batters on Friday night in Waco scored for Nebraska in what was an eventual 19-9 win, but Nebraska lost 8-7 in 10 innings on Saturday and 7-2 on Sunday to start the season at 1-2.

-The bats weren’t the problem on Friday or Saturday, but couldn’t get them going on Sunday. Initial impressions of the team and what to expect from pitching/hitting?

-Also…Jake saw that Air Force’s football stadium hosted an NHL hockey game on Saturday night…should Nebraska use Memorial Stadium for non-football sporting events sometime, and what would it be?

NBA All-Star Weekend provided some fireworks this year…were you watching?

-Aaron Gordon had another great performance in the Slam Dunk Contest, but was bested by the Heat’s Derrick Jones, Jr.; Sacramento’s Buddy Hield won the 3-point contest; and last night’s All-Star game was won by _____________

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY (sponsored by Sartor Hamann Jewelers):

The losing streak reaches 10 for Nebrasketball, and Matej Kavas is out for the year

-It was a strangely familiar game to what happened when Nebraska went to Madison to play the Badgers—exact same halftime score (39-38 Wisconsin), and another slow start to the 2nd half that hurt Nebraska…and another explosion from 3-point land for Wisconsin (18 3s in Madison; 15 3s in Lincoln)

-And to add insult to injury, Nebrasketball lost Matej Kavas to a hand injury for the rest of the season. Just wonderful. Let’s hear from Fred Hoiberg.
