Five new members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced over the weekend…did they all deserve it over the ‘snubs’?

-Those who got in: Former Rams WR Isaac Bruce; former Broncos safety Steve Atwater; former Seahawks/Vikings guard Steve Hutchinson; former Colts RB Edgerrin James; and former Steelers safety Troy Polamalu

-Those who were snubbed included former Jaguars offensive tackle Tony Boselli and Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas

Does the rise of typical bottom-feeders like Penn State, Rutgers, and Illinois give you hope for Nebrasketball, or more concern? / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-The reasons for hope are that those programs have turned into solid teams despite being at the bottom of the conference for a while, which makes you believe it can happen quick here like it did there

-The reasons for concern are that those “gimmie” wins of the past are now tough wins…there’s not really an easy win anywhere (Northwestern’s record is bad but they’ve played a lot of close games)

Are you hoping a new dynasty takes over in the NFL or do you hope that it’s unpredictable going forward?

-The Chiefs are a favorite to be a dynasty with a stud QB like Patrick Mahomes, but it’s no guarantee to keep the team together to make it happen. Beyond that…maybe the Ravens? Maybe the 49ers? Who knows…do you like it that way or not?

-Sip has said he enjoys greatness with the Patriots franchise, and there is certainly a place for that. What is preferred by most, though?

NFL Network reports that the Patriots are willing to pay Tom Brady $30 million next season to play for the Pats…is he worth that at 43 years old?

-Brady just came off of a season where he started to show his age, and it led to a terrible loss at the end of the regular season to the Dolphins, and followed that up with a bad loss to the Titans at home in the first round of the playoffs. Should the Patriots really bring him back, especially at that amount of money?

Nebrasketball loses 7th straight in home loss to Penn State, and Fred Hoiberg isn’t happy

-Another similar story for Nebrasketball—a pretty solid first half (trailed 38-33 at half), and followed immediately by a terrible start to the 2nd half where the game was pretty much over within the first 5 minutes of the half. And Fred Hoiberg was pissed

-How do you explain that? Nebraska has really (besides the Ohio State and Northwestern games) played really solid first halves in this losing streak. Why does it all fall apart so quickly in the 2nd half?
