John Raridon retires from football, and Pernell Jefferson no longer on the roster

-Raridon entered Nebraska as a legacy player, and a 4-star commit…and never really did much. One of the more disappointing recent recruits Nebraska’s had…right? Some thought he could come in and play early, but never did.

-2-minute drill: Early thoughts on favorite for the Super Bowl?

Let’s have an intervention about blaming refs for all your problems, Husker fans / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe)

-Jake had serious issues with people on social media on Saturday night who were blaming the refs for Nebraska’s loss to Indiana. Did these people forget that Nebraska fell behind by 19 points and kept turning the ball over in their attempt to comeback against floundering Indiana for the majority of the second half? TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR TEAM’S POOR PLAY AND STOP BLAMING REFS!!!

Should Scott Frost consider giving up his play calling duties for the offense?

-Sip wrote about it over the weekend, and it’s probably a good question to answer. Now that you have Lubick on staff, someone who worked with Frost extensively at Oregon, it’s someone who understands the system that Frost runs and someone Frost trusts. Would Frost give up those duties? Let him focus more on managing the whole team?

-What are the pros and cons of such a decision? And is Lubick deserving of that much trust, if so?

The Super Bowl match-up is set following Sunday’s conference championship games…is it the best outcome we could have asked for?

-Many people wanted to see the Ravens and Lamar Jackson get to the big game, but they blew it against the Titans last weekend. A lot of people would hope to see a Super Bowl rematch of the past with Chiefs/Packers…were those wishes granted?

Nebrasketball blows an opportunity for a nice win and falls short in home loss to Indiana

-Nebraska used an 11-0 run in the first half to go up by as many as 8 at one point, but the Hoosiers took a 5 point lead to halftime, and then raced out to a 19 point lead in the second half, before completely falling apart for about 10 minutes…and Nebraska simply didn’t take advantage of that stretch, only getting to within 7 points before Indiana finished things off. Jake was very disappointed…what about Sip?
