Defensive coaches speak today after practice… what are the biggest questions to be answered?

-Do the assistants agree with Frost that it wasn’t a physicality problem against Minnesota, or will they say that it was?

-How does the team bounce back after a blowout loss to a division opponent, and get the season back on track against Indiana? The season could take a terrible turn the wrong direction if this isn’t a win on Saturday.

-Nebrasketball Media Day was yesterday morning… did you learn anything of note?

-Nebrasketball is seen as the No. 96 team by KenPom and projected to go 12-17 this year, with 5-15 in conference play.. do you see it as the same or similar?

-What’s Nebraska football look like without Maurice Washington going forward?

Can Nebraska generate a respectable run game with Dedrick Mills, Wyatt Mazour, and Rahmir Johnson?

-Life after Maurice Washington hasn’t been great for Nebraska’s run games where he has only played part of recently- but what can things look like without having any idea whether or not he’ll play, but in fact knowing he won’t play at all?

-For those who have been asking for Johnson to get a chance, here you go. The staff did intent to redshirt him, but with the Washington status unknown going forward, of Johnson can help you win games this year, you’d better play him. Can he be a difference maker or not?

In other non-Maurice Washington news, Nebraska will indeed wear their alternative jerseys on Saturday against Indiana.

-Frost said that he told the team they’d better perform well in the jerseys to justify him bringing them out for this game… and that’s obviously going to be necessary to even beat the Hoosiers

-Also, song of the Day (sponsored by Sartor Hamann Jewelers)

More reaction from Monday’s press conference… including Scott Frost pretty much saying the offensive line is bad.

-Maurice Washington’s news was the big storyline on Monday, but Frost did mention that he was glad at times this year he wasn’t the QB on the field with the protection the line was providing. Well, that’s just dandy.

-Can the line get things figured out to end the year, or is it pretty much just is what it is at this point?
