It’s hard to grasp where the fan base is with confidence ahead of this game…are fans expecting a win or preparing for a loss?

-Nebraska is 7-point underdogs against the Gophers, who have won 7 straight games and 8 of their last 9. Nebraska isn’t sure what’s going to happen at QB or WR…or kicker….so there are some big questions. That would indicate that Minnesota is a deserved favorite…but are fans going into this game expecting a loss? It was one we circled before the year that was going to be a tough one

-Also, Nebraska still has road woes; they did beat Illinois to snap an 8-game losing skid on the road, but there’s no proof that there won’t be issues again on the road tomorrow and going forward…

The never-ending story gets a new wrinkle: it appears as though we’ll see yet another new kicker for Nebraska this weekend

-Even though Lane McCallum made the game-winning kick against Northwestern, we’ve all seen the video of how close that short kick was to getting blocked; Frost mentioned on Thursday that it could be between Gabe Heins and walk-on Matt Waldoch for kicking services this week…any chance that one of those two can be reliable? What a treat that would be…
