Is it possible for Nebraska (or anyone) to play a ‘clean’ football game against Northwestern?

-The answer just seems like it’s always ‘no.’ Northwestern’s defense finds a way to give up yards but get a big sack or turnover when they need it most to keep them in the game. As a program that struggles with ball security, it seems like it would be a miracle for Nebraska to play a clean game on Saturday

-Also, how much will we learn tomorrow about Nebraska’s chances to beat Wisconsin/Iowa in November? Wisconsin already beat Michigan handily and Iowa plays there tomorrow…if they win, even though Michigan doesn’t seem like they are a great team this year…good luck beating both those teams

If this game is close like many predict it to be, there’s a big reason why that favors Northwestern: Nebraska still doesn’t know what’s going on at kicker

-It’s the ongoing story that you’re sick of, but it’s just something that won’t go away. Remember last year that Northwestern kicked a FG in OT to beat Nebraska, with a walk-on kicker at that point (he’s been replaced by scholarship kicker Charlie Kuhbander, who is 5/6 on FGs this season)

-We want to stop talking about this story, but we simply can’t, especially in a game that both teams need. A tight game simply favors Northwestern because of this….right?
