To the fans of the show who went to Gameday with ‘Early Break’ themed signs….we thank you

-Let’s be clear; it’s hard to take away a ton from scrimmages. But when Jake was at last year’s scrimmage, he noted that Dachon Burke looked like the best player on the team, and couldn’t even play. He feels the same about Burke this year after Friday night’s event. How about Rick Ross? More…

-Jake went out and about for the final hour of Gameday, and located a ‘Shut Up Sorensen’ sign, and a few ‘Shut Up Sipple’ signs. What a fun time that was. If you had a sign we didn’t see, we encourage you to tweet it to @HuskerExtraSip or @937JakeSorensen, or text it to the text line!

Shut up Sipple (Bagels & Joe)

Is Scott Frost the man for the job, according to Ari Wasserman from the Athletic he is, it is just that it will take time for Nebraska to get there.

Also…. Shut up Sipple presented by Bagles & Joe

Nebraska is chasing the ‘monster’ of Ohio State….do they really seem like they can be caught?

-It’s a reality check. Nebraska caught the Buckeyes by surprise last year in Columbus and pushed them for a full 4 quarter. Saturday’s game was much different, as Ohio State was superior at pretty much every spot on the field

-Sip has made a point (a good point) that Nebraska’s goal shouldn’t just be to win the West and then be a huge underdog in the Big Ten Championship when you get there. Is that actually ever going to be possible? What needs to happen? Is the talent really that bad? It has to be more than that.

Sip and Jake agree with the fans….. long rebuild ahead

After a 48-7 loss against a national power, the fans are sitting back for what will be a long rebuild….. and Sip and Jake agree. Keep calling in with you thoughts on the Honda of Lincoln Hotline at 402-464-5685

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY (sponsored by Sartor Hamann Jewelers):

“We are who we are” Frost swallows a tough pill after Saturday’s loss

-After a tough loss to one of the nations best, Sip and Jake let it all out regarding an absolute shackling by Ohio State at Memorial Stadium. Is the season over after a 48-7 even with supposedly winnable games afoot in the month of October.
