Andy Janovich hit 3 home runs in batting practice at Coors Field yesterday….could Parker or Jake knock one out of the park?

-Jake had the chance to take batting practice at Kauffman Stadium a few years ago for Media Appreciation Day in Kansas City, and got to the warning track several times—but he claims to be stronger now than he was back then. Could either of the guys get one out of the park?

2-minute drill: Parker is a Wisconsin native, and his Bucks were beaten by Toronto in the ECF…is he pulling for Raptors or Warriors in Finals because of that?          ALSO—GIVE AWAY TICKETS TO NEBRASKA FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL!

247 Sports listed one of the strangest projections to date about the upcoming 2019 B1G football season / Shut Up Sipple

-247 Sports’ Jordan James has Nebraska going 11-1 in 2019, with their only loss to Northwestern (!!), and also Michigan going 11-1, while Ohio State AND Minnesota at 10-2, Iowa at 9-3….and Purdue at 4-8 among others. Is this crazy talk?

Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby remains adamant that all transfers—no exceptions—must sit out one year…is there a right or wrong choice?

-We have seen immediate eligibility come in to play often lately; looking at Justin Fields and Tate Martell mostly from this recent year to leave their schools to go elsewhere. Many would agree with Bowlsby on this, but some think it’s time to be ‘progressive’ and let players leave their schools to go elsewhere and be eligible immediately. Is there any way that will ever be the case, and should it?

-Jake seems to be behind the times on a lot of these new issues (see: redshirt 4-game rule) and is kind of on Bowlsby’s side here, just to avoid free agency in college sports. What about Parker?

Fox is carrying the U.S. Open for golf again, yet apparently forgot to put 2-time defending champion Brooks Koepka in their promos

-Koepka was informed about the mistake on Tuesday and was in somewhat disbelief about it, as the reigning PGA Champion and also 2-time defending U.S. Open Champion. Is it the mission of the golf world just to piss off Koepka and make him even more dominant because of it?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

Nebraska adds a transfer—tight end Travis Vokolek—did they need to get another tight end?

-Vokolek transfers to Nebraska from Rutgers, choosing the Huskers over Iowa State and Kansas State. He’ll sit out this year and play 2 years after that. He had 16 receptions for 184 yards and 2 TDs last year

-Nebraska is still pretty young and deep at tight end, with junior Jack Stoll, followed by sophomores Austin Allen and Kurt Rafdal, and incoming true freshman Chris Hickman…what was the interest in Vokolek and also the sell to get him here with so much depth at that position?

-Parker’s view of what to expect during Friday Night Lights…
