Archives for December 2018

What’s one area Nebraska basketball needs to improve on as it rolls into conference play?

-Nebraska basketball beats Southwest Minnesota State 79-38 to close out the non-conference slate. Everything is pretty good for the Huskers. They’re 11-2, a lock for the tournament if they finish the season the right way, and they finish 2018 WITHOUT LOSING AT HOME ONCE.

-Junior Isaiah Roby is one player for Huskers that needs to improve. His efficiency numbers have been down. How important is it Roby improves as Nebraska goes against some tough B1G competi-tion?

-What other areas need improvement for Husker hoops?

As 2018 comes to a close, how do we summarize the year in Husker sports?

  • There were some highs, with Nebrasketball closing the 2017-18 season with the most conference wins (13) in school history…followed by a disappointing blowout loss to Michigan and then Mississippi State in the NIT. And now in the 2018-19 season, they’re off to a great start…how do we summarize that program?
  • Also, football goes 4-8 for the 2nd straight year, but it’s a year to set the foundation for the future. Will we look back at this year and wonder in the future how in the world a Scott Frost coached team only won 4 games, as they build toward being a contender in the near future?
