New Years Resolutions for Husker Fans

-In the last day of 2018, what are Parker’s and Sip’s goals for Husker sports in 2019?

The College Football Playoff produced expected results, so why are fans so mad at what’s taken place?

-Alabama and Clemson are the two best teams in football, there’s no ands, ifs or buts about it. Notre Dame was a no-show in its contest with Clemson, and Oklahoma put up a heckuva fight, but came up 11 points short.

-In the end, it’s clear Alabama and Clemson are a level above everyone else. Is that good or bad for college football?

-Scott Frost was in attendance at the Alabama/Oklahoma game, being honored at the Orange Bowl. What do you think his thoughts are as he sees Alabama dominate the college football landscape?

The NFL playoffs begin next week, is there a clear best team?

-Although Drew Brees didn’t play, the 13-3 New Orleans Saints got blown out by Carolina. The New England Patriots seem to be coming into form after an easy win over the Jets. The Kansas City Chiefs win the AFC West.

-Who’s the favorite right now for the Super Bowl, if there is one?


Mark Richt and Major Applewhite are out at their respective positions

-Mark Richt surprised the college football world when he retired as head coach of the Miami Hur-ricanes. It sure seemed like he was bringing that program back to the top. Major Applewhite is also let go at Houston after going 15-11 there in two seasons.
