Bill Snyder officially retires at Kansas State…where do the Wildcats go to replace him?

-Snyder already came back once after Ron Prince failed K-State in the late 2000s—there’s no way he comes back again if the next coach fails though…who are the candidates to watch for?

-Snyder had just signed an extension this year…that went out the window. Is it Snyder’s son or bust? And will Snyder be pissed if it’s anyone but his son to replace him?

More on Nebrasketball’s win over Illinois, and the Creighton game this Saturday looks that much more intriguing / Shut up Sipple

-Creighton puts up 93 in a loss to Gonzaga, which is respectable in its own right.

Are we sure the Heisman race is a done deal?

-The belief has been that Tua Tagavoiloa had the trophy wrapped up throughout the year, but he wasn’t great against Georgia before he got injured and replaced by Jalen Hurts (how about that for irony, by the way)—while Dwayne Haskins and Kyler Murray have been sensational the past few weeks, and each were great in their respective championship game…is the race for sure Tua’s still to lose?

College Football Playoff is set: Oklahoma is IN; Ohio State and Georgia are OUT — did they get it rig ht?

-Oklahoma beat Texas on 39-27 on Saturday to win the Big 12 Championship, while Ohio State beat Northwestern 45-24…and Georgia blew a big lead to Alabama (again) and lost 35-28, giving them 2 losses on the year. Georgia fans think they got snubbed, but 2 losses is always going to be tough to overcome

-Did the CFP get it right? Were they at least wrong for having Georgia ranked ahead of Ohio State in the rankings released Sunday?
