Kyler Murray wins the Heisman Trophy…surprised Tua didn’t win or was Murray the right guy

-For much of the season, it felt like Tua winning the Heisman was a given…but then Murray kept playing good football, and Tua got hurt against Georgia and replaced by Jalen Hurts who led the comeback…and things changed. But 2 straight Oklahoma QBs win the trophy…interesting times

-Will we see Adrian Martinez in the conversation next year for the trophy or too soon?

What if Creighton and Nebraska faced off again in the tournament

Now that Nebrasketball has beaten Creighton…are we all on board that this team NEEDS to get to the NCAA Tourney and win a game this season?

-Husker fans have been beaten down for years obviously because of bad teams and bad losses…but this team, despite a tough loss at Minnesota, should be dangerous in March, barring injury. Many people said let’s see what happens against Creighton before we assess what to expect for the season…is that gone and passed? We are 10 games deep in the season now

-Did the pressure to win big this season ramp up more with the Creighton win…or was that enough for some to accept wherever the season takes us because they simply beat Creighton finally?

John Cook is a machine and gets Nebraska Volleyball to the Final Four for the fourth straight year

-The Husker volleyball squad had 3 straight losses at one point in October, but John Cook knows how to win when it counts: Nebraska hasn’t lost even one SET yet in their run to the Final Four, winning in 3 sets vs. Oregon on Saturday in the Elite 8 to advance—they’ll play Illinois next weekend

Tim Miles and Greg McDermott’s postgame comments were…..interesting

-McDermott said Nebraska played more desperate because of their loss to Minnesota—and the fact they had lost 7 straight games to Creighton. Arrogant man…but he’s not wrong

-Still not sure what happened on the double-technicals in first half on Miles and McDermott—neither of them would say what happened in postgame. How about that for bad blood? About time Miles can give McDermott a bad day

THE STREAK IS OVER! THE EVIL EMPIRE FALLS! Nebrasketball blows out Creighton in resounding fashion, 94-75…it’s about damn time

-What a game it was—what an ATMOSPHERE—as James Palmer starts hot and ends with 30 points, and Nebrasketball goes 14-for-27 on 3s to beat Creighton at their own game, and send the blue-clad fans home to cry in their cereal

-There wasn’t much to complain about if you’re a Husker fan—Mitch Ballock tried to keep the Jays in it all by himself, but he couldn’t keep up. And once again, Thomas Allen rises up in a big home game (13 points against Kansas last year; 18 points against Creighton on Saturday)..will he ever be more consistent like that offensively?
