Final thoughts on Nebrasketball’s performance against Clemson and what to expect in next stretch of tough games

-Nebraska begins Big Ten play this weekend with Illinois at home on Sunday, Creighton coming up soon as well and Oklahoma State on the horizon.

-What are the chances both Nebraska and Creighton can win until the their game on Dec. 8?

-Biggest takeaways from Nebraska’s win over Clemson

-Thoughts on Palmer’s performance?

-The bench isn’t very deep, but they had great productivity last night.

How can Husker fans properly manage expectations and hype for the 2019 football season?

-This team isn’t coming off of a 10-2 first season under Scott Frost—instead, they started 0-6 and finished 4-8 for a second straight year. There will be tons of hype naturally for the 2019 season because of how Adrian Martinez looked and other young guys on the roster in 2018, but is there a way to be responsible with the hype, and if so, what is proper?

-Is it fair to Scott Frost to say that 2019 is a failure if Nebraska doesn’t win the West? Probably unfair. But it’s definitely fair to say that anything short of a bowl berth in 2019 is a failure. Where do we go beyond that?

Dabo Swinney is pissed at fans for not thinking 12-0 is good enough and he has every reason to be pissed

-Swinney was on the ACC Championship conference call on Sunday and ripped Clemson fans who said that their 21-point victory over South Carolina wasn’t good enough, even though that was the 5th straight time that Clemson ‘won the state,’ and also clinched an undefeated regular season. Were Husker fans that tough on their team in the midst of their dominant period in the ‘90s?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

No bowl game for Nebraska again, so let’s peel back the layers and grade Nebraska’s coaching staff in their first year with the program

-They achieved the same record of 4-8 that got the previous coaching staff fired, so that’s obviously not going to get a high grade…but what gives you hope and what might concern you? Are there any glaring weaknesses in the staff or how do you assess that?
