Final thoughts on Nebrasketball’s game tonight to wrap up the Hall of Fame Classic

-Any problems with shooting away from PBA that we saw against Missouri State? What do Texas Tech/USC present for a challenge?

-If Nebraska comes away from these 2 games against unscathed….when exactly is their first loss of the season?

-Breakdown of Nebrasketball’s first game of the Hall of Fame Classic against Missouri State…

-The B1G has had a tremendous start to the year…why is it so much better this year?

-What is the biggest concern for Nebrasketball throughout the rest of the non-con games?

Will Nebraska – Iowa eventually be more like Nebraska – Colorado, or Nebraska – Oklahoma?

-Iowa has won 3 straight games and 4 of the last 5. And believe it or not, they’ve been nationally relevant in some of the past 4 years. Most Nebraska fans believe that Scott Frost will get this program to a place soon where they rarely lose to Iowa—kind of like the Colorado rivalry. The Buffaloes definitely had their share of wins, but Nebraska owned the rivalry. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma – Nebraska rivalry was a lot of back and forth, and the Sooners actually own the head-to-head battle. Certainly there won’t be as much on the line for both teams as Nebraska – Oklahoma, but this is more of the back-and-forth convo

-What does this look like going forward? A heavy Nebraska lean, or back-and-forth through the years?

Spirits are high in Lincoln as they should be for Husker football—but something needs to be addressed and fixed ASAP for overall improvement

-Nebraska hasn’t been great in general this year in stopping the run, but they have been exposed by QB draws up the middle. We’re not talking about the Brad Smith’s and Seneca Wallace’s of the past—we’re talking about Rocky Lombardi and A.J. Bush (yes, Bush is quick, but Iowa shut him down completely). What’s the fix in stopping that part of the opponent’s offense?

Is there anyone out there still who thinks Nebraska can’t win in the cold weather with this type of offense?

-It wasn’t pretty against Michigan State, but it was good enough. Despite below average numbers, Mario Verduzco said Adrian Martinez played a really good game. It could potentially be rainy on Friday, but unlikely to be frigid in temperature. Can that convo about cold/bad weather be put to rest or do you need to see more to determine your thoughts on that?
