Keys to Nebraska – Ohio State / PICKS OF THE WEEKEND

-Alabama/LSU

-Penn State/Michigan

-Notre Dame/Northwestern

-Georgia/Kentucky

-Iowa/Purdue

-Nebraska/Ohio State

Lee Sterling (Paramount Sports) / Shut Up Sipple

-Last week:  1-4

-Alabama (-14’) vs. LSU

-Notre Dame (-9’) vs. Northwestern

-Michigan (-10) vs. Penn State

-Ohio St (-20’) vs. Nebraska

-Game of Week: Purdue (-3) vs. Iowa

-NFL: Miami (-3) vs. NY Jets

-New England (-6’) vs. Green Bay

Adrian Martinez is still only a freshman, but this is a very important game for him to set the tone for the future

-Nebraska believes they have a stud at QB, and fans believe that as well. But if Martinez goes on the road to a hostile environment and puts up big stats and keeps Nebraska in the game, he and the Huskers will get national attention and be a team to watch in 2019, and the rest of 2018

-You beat Ohio State on the road, you believe you can beat anyone, anywhere. For those who think the Iowa game is already a loss at the end of the year….if Nebraska pushes or beats Ohio State, everyone on the team will believe they can win the rest of their games and build momentum for the offseason

Husker Hoops wraps up first exhibition game against Wayne State…biggest takeaways?

-Did the depth give any signs of hope? Starters look good and not getting lazy and chucking up 3s?

-Do they look like they’re ready for a team like Seton Hall coming up in less than 2 weeks?
