Tim Miles wants the cheaters to get out of NCAA Basketball, but will that day ever come?

-Miles talked on Monday about his thoughts on the NCAA basketball scandal with shoe companies getting involved in getting certain players paid to go to different schools, and said there’s no place in the game for that and that the cheaters should get out of the game. We don’t know what the punishments for the schools involved will be, so will the cheaters get out?

Robin Washut (Husker Online) / Shut Up Sipple

-Nebrasketball’s season begins on Thursday against Wayne State, so it’s time to ask Robin his official prediction for how this season ends up and if the Huskers get their first ever NCAA Tourney victory

-Biggest takeaways from last Wednesday’s scrimmage? Looks like this team could build around Dachon Burke next year, right?

-How does Saturday’s game against Ohio State go?

What can be done to prevent what has happened against Ohio State in recent meetings?

-The last 2 meetings have resulted in 62-3 and 56-14 losses, where the games were over by the end of the first quarter. Obviously, Nebraska wasn’t good enough on offense in either game, but the defense was the major concern, with no punts forced in either game. So…let’s talk defensive logistics here

-You know you have a weak pass rush, and that blitzing hasn’t worked great for you for the majority of the year…how does Erik Chinander keep his unit from getting embarrassed? Max coverage? Max guys in the box? No blitzes or lots of blitzes? A collective combination? It’s going to be interesting to watch how he works with what he has

Hue Jackson fired by the Cleveland Browns, and guess who is Vegas’ favorite to land the job?

-Former Husker QB Zac Taylor, that’s who! Taylor is currently the QB coach of the Rams, and has helped Jared Goff improve immensely this year. He’s been coaching for a while; Texas A&M, Miami Dolphins, University of Cincinnati, and more. Experience is there…can you envision him being an NFL head coach?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

Saturday’s game is important for many reasons, but one recent strength for Nebraska will need to prove it’s for real

-We complained a lot about the offensive line in the early part of the year (except for the Colorado game), and it was deserved, with a litany of penalties and poor protection/blocking at times affecting the unit. However, the past 3-4 games, the line has been pretty dang good, with limited penalties and holes for RBs to run to, and mostly good protection of Martinez

-Again, we have had this feeling going into an Ohio State game in the past and have been let down. No Nick Bosa is a good thing, so can Nebraska keep putting up big yards/points with the line leading the way this weekend?
