Nebraska opens as a 6 point favorite over Minnesota…oh, the belief in an 0-6 team!

-Minnesota pushed Ohio State for most of the game on the road in Columbus, falling 30-14 after some late scores…surprised to see them as that high of an opening ‘dog?

-We’ve asked many times this season, but after that game….how does the team bounce back?

-Why did they go away from running Martinez in the 4th quarter when trying to put the game away?

Hey, Husker fans: It is OK to be critical of your head coach and still believe he is going to get it done here eventually

-Sorensen received a lot of backlash on Twitter for being critical of the team and of Scott Frost’s playcalling at the end of the game, and he’s not sure why. Yes, we have very supportive fans of the program and Frost and that is great, but we all expected better than what we’ve seen so far. If you would have told fans before the year started that they were going to be 0-6, they would have laughed and said ‘yeah right.’ Well here we are. It’s OK to admit that you’re upset!

-Also, guess what—being critical of a coach isn’t going to scare him away! He is paid big bucks to win games! There have been other first year coaches who have had success in their first year. We know this might take a few years but there have been some serious flubs this season that

Nebraska did have one thing go it’s way this weekend—Bud Crawford represents in Omaha and knocks out Jose Benavidez, Jr.

-The bout went into the 12th and final round, but Crawford was in control and would have won the card…but decided to leave no doubts and TKO Benavidez to remain unbeaten. That was fun!

Nebraska’s defense can’t stop running teams and can’t stop passing teams…how are you supposed to win a game?

-Northwestern threw the ball 37 straight times (!!) to end the game, resulting in only one sack by Nebraska. We knew the Wildcats couldn’t run the ball, and they didn’t do that well. But Clayton Thorson shredded Nebraska with average receivers, and kept converting critical 4th down plays. Meanwhile, Nebraska couldn’t get out of their own way. And Aaron Williams picked a bad time to have the worst game of his career, likely

-The 99 yard drive will go down in infamy for a long time.
