What a weird time at Maryland right now, as D.J. Durkin is….BACK?!

-Maryland held a press conference yesterday that announced that they are aware of the findings in the case against D.J. Durkin, but don’t think the findings ultimately led to the death of Jordan McNair

-So…Durkin is back, and apparently some players walked out on him when he held a meeting with players after the announcement

-Wandale Robinson announces his school decision soon…are you expecting Nebraska to get the nod?

-Is blitzing the answer against Ohio State or is being aggressive what might kill Nebraska?

An Ohio State website already thinks that Scott Frost is going to cause problems in recruiting for players that both schools want

-Eleven Warriors wrote about Frost and Nebraska’s desire for Wandale Robinson, a player that Ohio State also wants, and that if Nebraska gets him, it could be a (possible) trend for players of the same caliber going forward

-This is the interesting part of the conversation. That might be believable for skill players on offense, but will Nebraska be able to beat players in the same conversation as Ohio State on defense? They don’t have an upper-echilon defense to ‘sell’ to recruits, and even though Ohio State’s defense isn’t great this year, it’s typically pretty dang good. Do you think other programs are going to be fearful of Nebraska in recruiting now, in general?

Alabama is ranked No. 1 in the first week of the college football playoff

-Alabama is ranked first in the College Football Playoff rankings. Clemson, LSU and Notre Dame round out the top-4. Michigan is on the outside looking in.

-No matter what happens on Saturday against Ohio State, do you believe Nebraska can enter next year’s game against them with an expectation of beating them?

-Do you expect Nebraska to lean more on the run game on Saturday or be more 50/50 on offense?

-What can Nebraska do defensively to try and slow down the Buckeyes?
