Shut Up Sipple / Blackshirts weren’t taken away after the loss to Michigan…what’s the threshold for them to be taken away?

-56 points against a mediocre offense is eye-opening, and again makes you wonder what will happen against other ‘sluggish’ offenses in the B1G—for crying out loud, we saw lowly Minnesota put up 50+ points last year on Nebraska. What will it take to consider taking them away, or will Frost do that at all with a potentially mentally fragile team?

Robin Washut (Husker Online)

-Was the Michigan loss the worst it’s going to be this season as Frost said on Saturday or is there potential for worse?

-Good Nebrasketball news—2 new commits for Tim Miles’ squad. What’s the scoop on them?

-What is your honest expectation for Nebrasketball heading into the season as practice starts today?

Nebraska says they need to push the reset button on the season as they look to Purdue this weekend…what exactly does that look like?

-Caller Tim lights up on a text from another listener

-Is that a difference in practice drills and such? A change in personnel at different areas? It’s a common sports cliché, of course. But in this case, without a bye week to clean things up, how do they reset things?

-Is there confusion at all? Too many things in the playbook to think about? Or just a lack of willingness to compete at the highest level consistently all the way through? How can you ‘reset’ this season and try to find growth in it?

Are you expecting this Nebrasketball team to live up to expectations and make the NCAA Tourney or are you skeptical?

-Tim Miles seemed pretty positive about his team on Monday, saying they just love to work and there is no signs of them taking things easy after a successful 2017-18 campaign. Do you believe in him/them?

It’s going to be Adrian Martinez this week against Purdue; what’s it going to take for the offensive line to get him some protection?

-Martinez wasn’t great on Saturday because no one was; the loss was certainly not his fault, as he had about a millisecond to throw the ball every time he snapped. Everyone says he’s mentally strong, and Sip and Jake believe that. But will it be enough to continue to overcome shoddy offensive line play?

-We know this offense can be explosive because we saw it against Colorado. There’s no way that 560+ yards was the complete fluke of the season so far though, right? Is the o-line feeling sorry for themselves or something?
