One last time…Tanner Farmer for President, 2020…a leader has been born

-Farmer has lit up social media in the past weeks with his massive squat numbers he’s putting up, but on Thursday, it was his words, saying he doesn’t like so-called ‘realistic expectations’ and says he wants to win a national championship this year. And why the hell not? This team believes.

-Luke Gifford’s comments about the previous staff…how much does this buy-in affect immediate results?

-Mikale Wilbon is in camp, and Maurice Washington can play immediately…how does the RB spot play out?

Luke Gifford blasts the previous staff and says guys didn’t buy in to them…could a quick buy-in accelerate things in year 1?

-Gifford didn’t hold back when asking about weight training under Frost and Zac Duval, saying that the team second-guessed the previous staff and never trusted them, as well as saying that if they didn’t want to lift a weight under the previous staff, they didn’t have to. What a bunch of pushovers that staff was!

-This wasn’t a talent issue for Nebraska last year; it was 100% buy in and effort. Maybe it’s all Kool-Aid we’re drinking, but it feels like a completely different vibe from what we’ve ever heard before

For those who thought Mikale Wilbon was a goner from Nebraska—think again, as Frost confirms he’ll be in camp. How deep is this Husker offense now?

-Wilbon is not seen as a true contender to start, but he is athletic and definitely can provide something if called upon. Devine Ozigbo mentioned that Tre Bryant is looking healthy again and Frost discussed him, too, and if Bryant truly is healthy….wow is this backfield stacked

-Will there be enough carries to go around to make guys happy? How do you see the split going with RBs this year?

Scott Frost speaks again, and it’s compelling as always: He is NOT about offseason hype and doesn’t believe in this being a rebuild this year

-The way Frost speaks makes it very obvious why his players are so fond of him and why he is successful; he skirts around nothing and is very adamant about what he believes in. He said offseason hype is for newspapers and websites, and is not a factor with the actual team. Sip had tears of joy at these words!

-Also, for those who believe this is a rebuild in 2018 for Nebraska, Frost isn’t having it; his team will expect to compete and win every game. The way it should be!
