Nick Saban is sticking around until 2025, how many more titles will he win? / Shut Up Sipple

-Saban announced Friday of the decision to stay for at least 7 more years, which probably made every SEC school shed a tear of sadness—can he keep up his dominance or will he ever slip?

A new contender for worst feeling in the world happened this weekend; an MLB pitcher lost a no-hitter with 2 OUTS IN THE NINTH INNING

-Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb was one out away from a no-hitter before Dodgers’ shortstop Chris Taylor broke up the bid on a 2-2 count…is there a worse feeling than that? Maybe missing a 3-foot putt for a major championship (like Dustin Johnson did a few years ago)? Just brutal.

Is Nebraskan’s acceptance of Jim Harbaugh’s performance at Michigan so far indicative of Husker fans falling expectations?

-Jim Harbaugh is 28-11 at Michigan overall and 18-8 in conference play; not too shabby. If Mike Riley had done that, he’d still be here undoubtedly—but don’t forget that Harbaugh is 1-5 against his rivals…does that record distort the conversation at all?

-There’s a strong chance Scott Frost goes worse than 28-11 over a 3 year span at Nebraska…and he won’t probably receive a ton of flack for it. Expectations down or proper?

Lincoln listed by one outlet as the 27th best college football town in America…how in the HELL are they so low?

-HeroSports.com came out with the list, and put Lincoln at what many would describe as a terribly low ranking of college towns…where does the city rank in your mind?

-Also, SONG OF THE DAY:

Besides the QB battle, which positional competitions are the most intriguing this Fall?

-Sip says safety, and it’s not a bad pick, with the possible return of JoJo Domann, and the addition of Tre Neal to the unit…how’s it going to unfold?

-Will there be competition at cornerback or is that a done deal heading into the Fall? How long is Lamar Jackson’s leash?
