Basketball talk at football B1G Media Days?! Yep—Bill Moos lays down the law on what Tim Miles needs to do to stick around

  • Moos joined Brett Kane on Monday in Chicago and said that for Miles to feel like he’s the answer for the program, he needs to be consistently in the Top 6 of the league, and prove that he can put multiple good seasons together, not just one out of 5 years
  • Do you believe in Miles to do that?

  • Biggest takeaways from Frost, players, and others on Day 1 of B1G Media Days?
  • Does Nebraska have the brightest spotlight in the B1G in 2018 because of Frost?
  • Are other coaches scared of Nebraska and what they might become under Frost?

Is Nebraska’s ceiling under Scott Frost what Chip Kelly was able to do at Oregon?

  • FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt joined Happer in Chicago on Monday and said that the best he can see Nebraska doing ever is in the 11-20 range of the recruiting rankings because of disadvantages that schools like Oregon had—but Oregon dominated the Pac-12 for 4 years, made the championship in 2010 and 2014, and found a way to make it happen. Do you see a similar ceiling for Nebraska?
  • Also, to that, you have to surpass Wisconsin and the other schools in the B1G East. Frost had ideas on how to do so…

Bill Moos says Nebraska might mix the traditional tunnel walk with newer music elements, too—are you going to freak out, Husker fans?

  • If is has Scott Frost’s stamp of approval, most fans say that it’s fine by them. And why not? Why not change it up while keeping traditional elements? You never know if something is better if you don’t try, right?

Scott Frost speaks up again about what needs to happen for the College Football Playoff…will anything ever change, though?

  • The College Football Playoff is set as it is through 2026, but Frost again said he’d like to see it expand to 8 teams and gives reasons why. Jim Harbaugh has said he wants 16 teams and Urban Meyer has not really said much, and some believe that Frost is the strongest voice on the topic—his UCF team did last year get snubbed by many people’s account. But will we see an 8-team playoff when expansion is possible after 2026?
