June 27th: 247 Sports lists Nebraska as the 26th best job in college football currently…does that sound right or too high/low?

-247 Sports made their list with a criteria of: Championships won over the last decade; Recruiting over the last decade; Revenue; and Pressure. Nebraska was 26th, behind the likes of Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Washington, UCLA, and Stanford

-Nebraska was listed with low regard in terms of championships over past decade and recruiting, and decent with revenue and pressure. Where does Nebraska stack up with those other schools in your mind?

June 27th: Tiger Woods is changing his putter ahead of this week’s tournament…is golf the most mental sport in the world?

-Some might argue that baseball is more mental with batting confidence and also pitching, but golf is crazy. Elite golfers fall off the face of the planet when they develop the shanks or things of that nature and are never to be heard of again. To think that Woods, one of the game’s all-time greats, is tinkering with a new putter shows how hard the game is


June 27th: Has the CTE knowledge and concussion concerns slowed down football as much as you’re led to believe?

-We learned this week that former Washington State QB Tyler Hilinski was indeed found to have CTE when a brain scan was done of him, but we haven’t been hearing as much it feels like. Is there any evidence or reason to believe that football is dying because of the CTE knowledge? For some reason, it doesn’t feel that way to Sorensen
