June 1st: JR Smith makes a bone-headed mistake

June 1st: Parker Gabriel (Lincoln Journal Star) / Shut Up Sipple

-What’s the latest on Tony Fair and his possible commitment to Nebraska?

-How much can early practices actually help Nebraska in early games, and if it is helpful, why wouldn’t all teams use that practice philosophy?

June 1st: BTN’s Brent Yarina puts Nebrasketball at 2nd in B1G for hoops…too optimistic or about right?

-Yarina puts Nebraska 2nd behind Michigan, and ahead of Michigan State, Wisconsin, Indiana and Purdue…also, Jon Rothstein had Nebraska at 25th in his preseason poll that came out yesterday…are you on board or what will it take? This is very early hype for a season that is 5 months away

-Let’s step back for a second and think about the idea of NEBRASKA FREAKING BASKETBALL being one of the actual favorites to win the conference—not sarcastically, but real—did you ever think you’d see the day?

June 1st: Derek Bombeck (Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau)

-2018 Bonus Race World Finals; Big Red Challenge; Mustang Club of America National Show; and a giveaway

June 1st: Nebrasketball lands game with Oklahoma State in Sioux Falls and Clemson in the B1G/ACC Challenge…will they be up to the test?

-Oklahoma State barely missed the NCAA Tournament last year and beat Kansas twice, so it will be a good test, although the arena they are playing in only seats about 3,500 people..good luck getting a ticket, right?

-Also, Clemson last year was a 5-seed in the NCAA Tournament in somewhat of a surprise year…a good look for Nebrasketball to get some big-time games in the early going…
